Young Media is a journey that started when I was only 15 years old, hired by my high school, Santiago High School in Corona, California, to record sports games. From there, my passion for capturing life's moments grew, and I started producing projects for big names like RadioShack, ESPN, and Allstate, as well as working with families for weddings, portraits, and music artists to make moments more affordable.
As Young Media continued to grow, I saw an opportunity to partner with Luca Miranda to create the music recording studio, Young Media Studios, in Canyon Lake, California. This partnership provided us with a great central hub located in the middle of our service area, which spans from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Despite being based in Southern California, we are not limited to this region and have done work around the country, recording famous country artist Zach Bryan at Red Rocks, Colorado, to multiple student portraits in Atlanta, Georgia, and even worldwide, creating content in countries like Australia and New Zealand.
At the core of Young Media is a heart to serve. We have helped multiple churches in Southern California with media and have even gone to a church technology summit for three days in Phoenix, Arizona. We stay on top of our competition with our diverse marketing and partnership background, working with industry-specific professionals from VAK NLP Training for major car brand sales to working with social media content machines like David Dobrik. (Fun fact, I even beat him at a game of pool in his house).
But why did I start filming in the first place? Growing up, I was a very adventurous kid who loved to spend time outdoors, taking in God's creation by hiking, cliff jumping, or bodysurfing in the waves of Laguna Beach, where I was born. These adventures made me want to capture those moments, so I mixed my passion for RC helicopters and bought my first camera, a drone. From there, I progressed to using a small Nikon camera until I found my true calling, videography, with the help of a teacher named Gauss, Carl at Santiago High School in Corona California, who encouraged me to buy a Sony A7ii hybrid camera for both photo and video.
Young Media has big plans for the future. One of those plans is to help develop and grow Santiago High School's video department, giving back to the community and increasing the opportunity and skill of the trade for new upcoming video professionals. Next to that is to always be able to provide media services and consulting to churches worldwide. Our journey has been long, and we have come a long way, but we are always looking to improve and grow while staying true to our roots of passion, heart, and service.
In conclusion, Young Media is not just a business; it's a journey of passion, growth, and a heart to serve. We are proud of our diverse background, from serving churches to working with big-name brands, and our ability to capture and tell stories that will touch people's hearts. Young Media has come a long way, and our journey is far from over.
